The Tennessee Aquarium is a non-profit public aquarium located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States. It opened in 1992 and is one of the largest freshwater aquariums in the world, with over 12,000 animals representing more than 800 species.

The aquarium features two buildings, the River Journey building and the Ocean Journey building, which showcase the diverse aquatic life of the Tennessee River and the oceans of the world, respectively. The River Journey building features freshwater animals, including river otters, turtles, and various species of fish, as well as interactive exhibits and a deep ocean exhibit. The Ocean Journey building includes a variety of marine life, including sea turtles, jellyfish, and exotic species of fish, and a butterfly exhibit.
